Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ANIA Intelligence LLC ("ANIA," "we," "us") collects through www.ania.com and through ANIA Alerts, our text message and email alert service, and how we use it. ANIA is a privately held, independent company in Phoenix, Arizona. It is not a government agency and does not act under government authority.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you sign up for ANIA Alerts or contact us, we collect what you provide: your name, organization, role, mobile phone number, email address and the alerts you choose.
- Your consent record. When you opt in to text messages, we keep a record of the date and time, the number you entered and the consent language you agreed to.
- Messages you send us. If you reply to an alert, text HELP or STOP, or email us, we keep that correspondence.
- Basic site data. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operations.
How we use it
- To send the alerts you signed up for and to answer your questions.
- To confirm your opt-in, honor opt-outs and keep records required by phone carriers.
- To keep the site and the alert service secure and working.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use alert subscriber information for advertising.
Text messaging and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to deliver them.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our ANIA Alerts Terms for details.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run the site and send messages, such as our web host and our messaging provider. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber information while you are signed up. After you opt out, we keep your opt-out and consent records as long as needed to show we honored them, and then delete them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your subscriber information, or stop alerts at any time, by replying STOP or by contacting us below.
Children
ANIA Alerts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
